New Farmer’s Market in western Newfoundland:
This summer, expect local lettuce and more from the new Farmer’s Market. Corinne Hynes is the Farmers’ Market Coordinator for Western Newfoundland. The Farmers Market is a partnership between the Western Environment Center (WEC), the Department of Agriculture, the Newfoundland and Labrador Environment Network and the St. John’s Farmers’ Market with funding from Western Health. Regular weekly farmers’ market will be held in Corner Brook on Saturday mornings from July to October, 2009.
